CONTESTANTS
~ Will be singing on Mondays and Thursday
~ One song per a recording session
~ Your song must be 1 minutes in length at most 1 minute 20 seconds.
~ Your song will be sung by YOU and you alone! No Ojoro
~ You will be notified when to submit your songs for each contest session
~ You will be allowed to sing song of your choice, Blogger’s choice genre and any song given to you by the producers
~ You may sing an acapella or use instruments ,ur own made beats or sing
over a soundtrack.
~ You are expected to make your voice really clear and audible
~ You will state your blog name before and after your song
VOTERS
~ Voting is open to all Blogville residents and visitors.
~ One vote per person
~ Voters will vote via a voting poll add on which will be available soon
~ Voters are allowed to leave a written comment on d Blogville idol page on anything concerning the contest(singers,songs e.tc)
~ Voters/all bloggers would be contributing by letting us know what Genre they want the contestants to sing
HOST
~ Host will usher in the show and wrap up the show
~ Host will announce the contestant with least votes for the :
Monday Session: Wednesday morning
Thursday Session: Saturday Morning
Contest is starting on Monday, July 7th 2008
The singing will end on Monday, July 21st
Winner will be announced wednesday July 23rd (after two days of voting)
Contest will take place for a duration of three(3) weeks
There will be 13 contestants
Contest days are Monday & Thurday with Elimination to be announced Wednesday morning &Saturday morning respectively
The Grand Finale will feature the two finalists and they will sing two songs of their choice.
The session are as follows:
Week 1
1st session-Monday, July 7th 2008-Song of your choice
2nd session-Thursday, July 10th , 2008-9ja song of your choice
Week 2
3rd session-Monday, July 14, 2008-bloggers choice
4th session-4th session-Thursday, July 17, 2008-producers choice song
Week 3
5th session (Final Session)-July 21st, 2008-5th (Final session)-Two songs of your choice
Results will be announced WEDNESDAY 23rd JULY 2008
